The Need, by the Numbers

The Huntsville-Madison Public Library (HMCPL) is an incredible system of 12 branch libraries serving the residents of Madison County. Research from 2014 revealed some startling statistics regarding HMCPL.

HMCPL has the highest circulation of materials and resources in the state of Alabama.

However, HMCPL is one of the lowest in terms of per capita funding of public libraries in Alabama.

This affects us all.

The Huntsville Library Foundation exists to bring awareness to and raise funds for HMCPL. With your help, we can rise above #127 in funding and continue to provide free resources and information to all Madison County residents, regardless of race, ethnicity, age, gender, or social-economic standing.

We invite you to give to the Huntsville Library Foundation today, to ensure a lasting and sustainable library for tomorrow.
