Founded in 1986, The Huntsville Library Foundation is a 501(c)(3) organization whose mission is to advocate for the library and to acquire resources that enhance the library’s value to the community. This team of dedicated individuals works year-round to raise funds for the library’s 12 branches to better serve Madison County. With a voluntary board of directors, the Foundation believes that a great library helps make a great community

City, HMCPL officials to announce new library in North Huntsville

Conversation gets sweet with the Cake Mix Doctor, Anne Byrn

Good conversation is even better when paired with a good piece of cake. HLF will serve both at our next Community Conversations event when Anne Byrn, bestselling cookbook author of The Cake Mix Doctor, will be at the Downtown Huntsville Library on Friday, Sept. 9 at 2 p.m. to discuss her upcoming book, American Cake.
